A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for southeastern Pennsylvania until 9 a.m. Wednesday, with low visibility creating potentially hazardous driving conditions in the Lehigh Valley. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop later in the day.

The National Weather Service forecasts a slow-moving cold front will bring increasing chances of precipitation throughout Wednesday, with shower and thunderstorm activity most likely north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 276).

Regional rainfall totals between 0.5 and 1.5 inches are expected, with some localized areas potentially receiving up to 3 inches. Afternoon temperatures will reach the upper 70s to low 80s.
