Strictly Come Dancing's Thomas Skinner shared that he had a "lovely evening" with Amy Dowden in family "first".

The 34-year-old former The Apprentice star was confirmed as one of the 15 celebrities taking part in the new series of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

When the launch show kicked off, Thomas was announced to be paired with professional dancer Amy Dowden.

This series marks Amy's official return to the show after she missed out when battling with her cancer diagnosis. Although she was partnered with JLS singer JB Gill last year, she had to pull out of the competition following an injury.
