TEXARKANA, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) — It might not feel like fall quite yet, but that's not stopping the Fall Farmer's Market from opening up in Texarkana.
"Some people have more vegetables now that they were able to replant their garden later in the year so you're kind of getting a new fresh, crops and, just new products that are more fall related. The weather's going to be nicer, so I think people are ready for that cooler weather to kind of get out again." says Cole Starr, recreation coordinator for the Texarkana, TX Parks and Recreation Deparmtent.
This is the second year the parks department has hosted the fall version of the market. This year it will be held at the Southwest Center on West 7th Street.
