TEAM USA have been lambasted by their own fans after the Ryder Cup gala.

America's finest golf stars will take on Team Europe in their two-day tournament starting this Friday at New York's Bethpage Black Course.

However, things didn't start well for Team USA when they posed for a commemorative snap with their European counterparts.

Team Europe were much better dressed in their swanky suits while the Americans posed without a tie while wearing sneakers.

Fans were left very disappointed as they stormed social media immediately after seeing that photo.

One fan tweeted: "Whose idea was it to wear sneakers with suits and no ties? Absolutely repulsive. Zero class."
