Traffic signal outage at 2 central Sylvania intersections

As part of its ongoing Downtown Improvement Project, the city of Sylvania will shut off the traffic signals at Monroe Street’s intersections with Main and Summit streets for about five hours starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The outage will allow a contractor to install new electrical conduit for the stoplights. City police will direct traffic at the intersections during the outage.
