NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio — The budding North Baltimore football team is flourishing with an up-tempo spread offense as its propellant.
The undefeated Tigers (5-0) are putting up eye-popping numbers on a weekly basis, averaging 45.8 points per game. Led by senior standout wide receiver Cooper Clark — who already has nearly 1,000 receiving yards — and junior QB Luke Long, North Baltimore has won its first five games for the first time since 2004.
First-year head coach Greg Bishop, in his second stint at the helm of the program after spending eight seasons at Elmwood, has installed a fast-paced offense that averages 536.6 yards per game.
“Our goal is to get our athletes in space and let them be athletes,” Bishop said.
