GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Guntersville City School bus was involved in a crash that took place on Wednesday morning.

According to the school system, the crash happened when the school bus was leaving Gunters Landing. GCS told News 19 that all students on the bus, including the driver are safe and were not injured.

The Guntersville City Schools Transportation team as well as administrators responded to the incident. Parents of the students on the bus at the time of the crash have been notified.

"We are also grateful to local first responders for their quick and professional assistance at the scene. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority, and we are thankful for a safe outcome this morning."
