HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) - In Hopkinsville, a funeral will be held for the unclaimed remains of American Veterans.

As we’ve previously reported , the Missing in Action Program gives these veterans a dignified funeral service.

Officials say it’s what they deserve after their time in the military.

The group locates, identifies and then helps bury the remains with full military honors.

The service takes place at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville at 11 a.m. and is open to the public.
