Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 24 (Maxim News) The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved Phase-III of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) aimed at strengthening and upgrading government medical colleges, standalone postgraduate institutes and hospitals. The scheme will create 5,000 post graduate (PG) seats and 5,023 undergraduate (MBBS) seats across India. This move is expected to significantly boost the country’s healthcare capacity and improve the availability of trained doctors.
