Srinagar/Hyderabad, Sept 24 (Maxim News) The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Wednesday finally announced the schedule for biennial elections to four vacant Rajya Sabha seats from the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory . The polling for these four vacant seats will be held on October 24.

According to the ECI , the poll notification for the four vacant Rajya Sabha seats will be issued on October 6. “The last date for filing nominations is October 13. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on October 14. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is October 16.”

Voting for the four vacant Rajya Sabha seats will be held on October 24 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and the counting of votes will take place on the same day
