Hurricane Gabrielle

As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, Hurricane Gabrielle has reached a maximum sustained wind speed of 100 knots or 115 mph with the central pressure at 960 mb.

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) forecasts Gabrielle to approach the Azores on Thursday. A Hurricane Warning was issued for all the Azores islands with conditions expected to reach severe levels by Thursday night and early on Friday.

As of now, Bermuda will continue to be effected by Gabrielle, including the east coast of the United States from the Carolinas moving north and around Atlantic Canada. These conditions are expected to last a couple of days.
