The Pennsylvania State Police announced there will be a sobriety checkpoint this weekend in Delaware County.

In a public information release, Troop K Media stations reports there will be a checkpoint from 10 Friday night to 3 on Saturday morning at an unnamed location in the county.

“The goal of the checkpoint is to identify and remove impaired, drunk and drugged drivers from the road,” said Cpl. James Nolan V in the notice. “Help us fight drugged and drunk driving, a danger that is entirely preventable.”
