SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Firefighters are working to put out a house fire in Springfield.

Emergency crews were called to 180 Bloomfield Street in the city’s Forest Park neighborhood shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

When firefighters arrived, heavy fire was seen coming from the second floor.

Western Mass News has a crew headed to the scene and will have more information as it becomes available.
