The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday released tentative schedule for the 2026 board examinations. As per the tentative schedule, CBSE Class 10th and CBSE 12th board examinations will be conducted between February 17 and July 15, 2026.

The board has issued circular to all CBSE-affiliated schools, stating that the examinations will be conducted during this period.

Around 45 lakh students are expected to appear across 204 subjects in Class 10th and Class 12th examinations from India and 26 countries abroad.

Besides the main examinations, the CBSE will also undertake practicals, evaluations, and post-result processes to ensure timely declaration of results.
