A 76-year-old man died after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Worthington on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash took place shortly after 1 p.m. on Ireland St. near Conwell Road, according to the Northwestern District Attorney David Sullivan’s Office.

Authorities said the man was from Chesterfield, but did not release his name.

First-responders pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by Worthington police, State Police detectives and the district attorney’s office. The State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction and Crime Scene Services are also investigating.
