Your pooch may have been shedding their fur at a higher rate than normal recently. And if you've been finding clumps of fur on the sofa and the floor for the past few weeks, this shouldn't be something to worry about, as we've just entered the second 'moulting season' of the year.

In spring and autumn, when the weather is starting to turn, dogs' coats go through changes that historically helped them adapt to varying temperatures in the wild. In winter, a thicker coat will grow, protecting our pups from the harsh conditions of the colder months, and in summer, they shed this again to reveal a thinner coat.
