An Ellsworth man is facing multiple charges after he was involved in a road rage incident while his toddler son was in the back of his car, according to police.
Joshua D. Busby, 37, has been charged with a felony count of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon along with other charges, according to Ellsworth Police Department Sgt. Kelvin Mote. The charge stems from Busby’s alleged use of his car to intentionally cause damage.
The incident happened at around 1 p.m. Monday as Busby and another Ellsworth man were driving separate vehicles south on High Street, police said. The two men exchanged “brake checks and cut offs” and were driving erratically before they pulled into the parking lot of a nearby tire store on Short Street, according to a police synopsis of the incident.
