President Donald Trump has been graded on a handful of his top policies since he hit his eight-month mark in office.
A new Washington Post/Ipsos poll found that over half of Americans — 53% — oppose Trump’s actions since he returned to the White House in January, while 41% support them. The survey also asked his supporters and critics to rank the best and worst things that he has sought to accomplish so far in his second term.
Among his base, immigration emerged as the president’s most popular issue, with 55% of Trump supporters naming it as what they like the most about his presidency. No other topic came close, with the poll recording 7% for government cuts and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), 5% for international relations, 5% for his personality and conduct, and 4%
