One city council seat in a small Alabama town is still undecided after two elections.
Third time is the charm with the Moulton City Council District 1 seat.
Four candidates ran in the general election in August, but no one received more than 50% of the votes.
On Aug. 26, 100 people cast their ballots. Danny Morris received 38% of the votes, Marsha Thrasher Farris and Reagan Hurst Eaves each gained 23% of the votes and Joyce Jeffreys was in last place with 15% of the votes.
Only two candidates would traditionally be in the runoff election. However, three made it to the Sept. 23 election because Farris and Eaves received the same number of votes.
But once again, no candidate received over 50% of the votes in the three-candidate runoff. Ninety-eight votes were cast in a very close race.
