After getting blown out 30-0 by the Panthers , Falcons ‘ faithful were left scratching their heads: Is Michael Penix Jr . still the one to lineup under centre? The concerns made sense. Penix Jr. had a rough game that had Raheem Morris pull the plug and roll with Kirk Cousins . But looking at it now, Cousins is still the backup, and Morris clearly hasn’t lost faith in his young QB. “ I feel like Mike (Penix) is going to bounce back today ,” the head coach expressed confidence in the Falcons’ decision to move forward with Penix Jr. as the QB1. “… He had a bad day. The team had a bad day .”
This is a developing story. Stay Tuned!
