Alvaro Carreras continues to make a mockery of Manchester United's decision to sell him as he continues to hit the ground running at Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old has started all of Los Blancos' seven matches in all competitions this season and played almost every minute thus far.

He is already considered one of three exceptions to Xabi Alonso's rotation policy , with Kylian Mbappe and Aurelien Tchouaméni.

It marks a stunning turnaround from the events which saw Carreras leave the Bernabeu to join Man United in July 2020.
