GASTONIA, N.C. — More than $50,000 worth of hemp was stolen from a farm in Gastonia this week, police say.
Gastonia Police say it happened at a business along Northwest Boulevard late Monday night. Detectives say the suspect broke in through a back window and got away with 35 pounds of hemp valued at approximately $50,000.
No arrests have been made in the case and Gastonia police haven't released any suspect information. The investigation remains active and anyone with information is encouraged to call detectives.
