The Coastal Resources Management Council ordered the Quidnessett Country Club to remove its illegal seawall back in June, but it's still standing.

And with negotiations at a standstill, both sides are turning to their lawyers.

The country club sued the CRMC on Sept. 9, alleging that the coastal regulator is infringing on its property rights. Separately, on Sept. 23, the CRMC voted to direct its attorney to pursue enforcement actions.
