Government liquor store workers are telling the province to “hold my beer” as the B.C. General Employees’ Union escalates its job action to include workers at retail liquor stores.

More than 600 workers at 25 B.C. Liquor stores walked off the job Wednesday morning, just two days after BCGEU job action shut down the Liquor Distribution Branch’s major warehouses and wholesale operations.
