The Chicago Cubs will be competing in the National League wild card round next week, and the team is putting tickets on sale for those games.

The Cubs, who currently hold a 1.5-game lead over the San Diego Padres for the top wild card spot in the National League, are in line to host the best-of-three series at Wrigley Field beginning on Tuesday.

According to the team, the playoff ticket lottery closed on Tuesday, but a general public sale for wild card round tickets is scheduled to move forward on Thursday beginning at 10 a.m.

Fans can still sign up for ticket lottery opportunities for future rounds of the playoffs, including the Division Series. That registration will remain open through Wednesday, October 1.
