ALEXANDRIA, VA – The City of Alexandria will expand its school zone speed camera program in the 2025–26 school year, adding three new locations to improve safety for students walking and biking to school.
New camera sites include:
Alexandria City High School – King Street Campus (King Street between Quaker Lane and Scroggins Road)
Alexandria City High School – Minnie Howard Campus (Braddock Road between Marlee Way and Marlboro Drive)
William Ramsay Elementary School (North Beauregard Street between North Morgan Street and Roanoke Avenue)
Existing cameras will remain in place near Francis Hammond Middle School, John Adams and Ferdinand T. Day Elementary Schools, and George Washington Middle School.
