Agartala, 24 th September 2025 : Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that everyone, from buyers to sellers, is happy with the new GST reforms.

He said that people are thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the reduction in the prices of goods.

“India can be the best in the world in terms of economy in the future,” said Dr. Saha.

The Chief Minister said this after visiting Maharajganj market, the busiest and largest market in Agartala.

Later, Dr. Saha said that, on the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the new GST reforms, which came into effect on September 22.
