Agartala, 24 th September 2025 : In a significant step toward sustainable rural development, the Tripura Government’s Department of Biotechnology, in collaboration with the Ashraya Foundation and foreign financial partners, officially launched Bio Village 2.0 in Behalabari, located in the Tulshikhar block of Khowai district.

The inauguration ceremony took place today at the Behalabari Panchayat Hall, was attended by State Forest, Science and Technology Minister Animesh Debbarma, who lauded the initiative as a model for eco-conscious development.
