Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels participated in practice Wednesday as he attempts to work his way past a knee injury.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn said prior to the session that Daniels was expected to be a limited participant. Daniels sustained his injury in the latter stages of Washington’s 27-18 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 11 and sat out last Sunday’s 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

“(Daniels) is doing everything you possibly can to get there,” Quinn said of the quarterback playing for the Commanders (2-1) in their road game against the Atlanta Falcons (1-2) on Sunday.

Wide receiver Terry McLaurin sustained a quadriceps injury during the third quarter against the Raiders. He was not expected to participate in practice on Wednesday, per Quinn.
