MADISON (WKOW) -- A family-run grocery store on University Avenue in Madison is closing.

Fresh Mart made the announcement in a Facebook post Tuesday night. The announcement said the store will be closing on Sunday.

" Closing this location is not an easy decision—it saddens us deeply to say goodbye to a place that has been filled with so much warmth and support from all of you," the Fresh Mart Team said in the post.

Fresh Mart's location in Sun Prairie will remain open.
