WASHINGTON — Montgomery County and Prince George's County have increased security measures at their high school football games after incidents of robberies and fights. MCPS is the latest to send out a statement to parents about different safety measures.

PGCPS has reversed its decision of moving games at Wise High School to Saturdays. In a statement to WUSA9, the school district said it will continue games on Fridays but will have new safety protocols in place.

PGCPS said in a statement:

"We did not want to penalize the school when, in fact, the incident did not involve students from Wise or Flowers this weekend. Police and sheriffs will support monitoring the exterior and PGCPS security and staff will monitor inside the game. Only students from the schools playing will be able to atten
