North Alabama is once again landing high on a list of the best places to live.

Madison County landed in the Niche’s top 10 best counties to live in America . The county is home to the state’s largest city, Huntsville, as well as Madison and heavily populated unincorporated areas.

Madison County was determined to be the seventh best county to live in based on 13 qualities . It received an overall A+ grade. It received an A+ grade for housing and family life. Its lowest grade was B- for commuting times.

Many Southeastern counties are high on the ranking list; however, the next Alabama county Shelby County at No. 35.
