JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — A man has died after an industrial accident involving a forklift, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

JSO stated during a press conference that officers responded to an accident with injuries at around 11:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of Philips Highway.

Upon arrival, police say that responding officers had located a man who was "trapped" in between the lifting arms and the body of a forklift. JFRD responded on scene, where officers said that the man was pronounced dead on scene.

JSO Homicide and Crime Scene Units had also responded on scene, where police said that interviews were conducted with witnesses and video surveillance was reviewed. JSO says that there are no current signs of foul play.
