ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - A Walkerton family is getting an update to their home, as part of a community fundraising effort by “A&M Home Services”.

Each year, A&M partners with a local charity to donate a new roof; and this year’s partnership is with St. Vincent DePaul.

The raffle raised more than $15,000, and our team was at the winner’s home for the installment.

“We never won anything like that,” said raffle winners Mark and Michelle Klota. “It was a God send. Definitely a blessing you don’t think you’re going to win but let’s give it a try. We were kind of really shocked that we were the fortune winners.”

The Marketing Manager of A&M, Laura Anderson, says the initiative helps generate much-needed funds for a vital organization.
