Syracuse, N.Y. ― A 17-year-old charged Wednesday with being one of two shooters on electric bikes in a drive-by murder has been identified.
The teen is Drevan Felder, of Cicero, who was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to a criminal complaint filed in Syracuse City Court.
Around 8 p.m. on Sept. 16, Felder and another person were riding VEO motorized bikes on the 400 block of Bellevue Avenue when they fired at least 11 shots with 9mm handguns, killing Jakari Townsend , 26, Syracuse police said in court documents.
A third person, David Herndon , 33, led the two shooters to the scene of the murder in a car while the two others followed on VEO bikes, according to court documents.
