A few “bad apples” appear to have ruined some of the experience at an Ontario apple orchard.

Shuh Orchards in Elmira, just north of Waterloo, said it’s having to restrict what people can bring into their “pick your own apples” farm after 500 pounds of apples were stolen in the first week of being open to the public. Article content Article content

“It’s actually really brutal,” Tim Shuh said in a video posted to Instagram.

“We’ve had instances of people stealing from us. Over a couple hundred pounds of apples now in strollers, wagons, backpacks, and so I hate to do this but this weekend coming up, there will be a policy implemented by Shuh Orchards — we will not have strollers, no wag
