MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A Madison man was sentenced on Tuesday to 15 years in federal prison for drug trafficking, including having more than 4,000 fentanyl pills, and a weapons charge, the Department of Justice reported on Wednesday.

The prison term for Jeramie J. Mason, 40, will be followed by 10 years of supervision.

He was convicted in April of illegally possessing a firearm as a felon, and intending to distribute more than 400 grams of fentanyl, more than 50 grams of methamphetamine and cocaine.

In November of 2023, the Madison Police Department searched his home looking for evidence connected to a fight that happened at Warner Park two weeks prior.
