COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Ohio State annually recruits a top-5 ranked class, and its program has become the prominent college pipeline for players to the National Football League.
The Buckeyes seemingly have the best of everything, from players and facilities to financial support.
But one area where OSU has boosted its commitment comes in an area many may not consider at first: Science.
"I think you've got to continue to evolve," said Ohio State's Mickey Marotti, the head of the OSU football performance team.
"There's a big tech arms race right now," OSU sports scientist Dan Cencer said. "I mean, everyone is trying to get ahead. Everyone's trying to get the next step. Everyone's trying to get that extra 1% going."
