Bob MacIntyre and Viktor Hovland were all smiles around Bethpage as the pair linked up again in European practice.
The Scottish star and the Norwegian were out in the same group for the second straight day in New York in a potentially-huge pairing pointer from skipper Luke Donald ahead of The Ryder Cup.
MacIntyre and Hovland featured in the same fourball on Tuesday morning when the duo played all 18 holes alongside Sepp Straka and Rasmus Hojgaard.
And, moving into Wednesday when the squad played only the back nine, the Oban star and his Scandinavian colleague were again part of the same unit. This time they were with Rory McIlroy and Matt Fitzpatrick, who were successful in fourballs together in Rome.
