LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - After some clouds and spotty showers early on Wednesday morning, quiet conditions have persisted for most of the area into Wednesday afternoon. High pressure moving through the area will keep the weather quiet into tonight and Thursday. As a ridge of high pressure aloft moves through the middle parts of the country, the weather should remain fairly quiet for us over the course of the next week.

Skies will continue to clear out this afternoon and evening, with skies becoming mainly clear by tonight. We could see a few clouds drifting through the area on Thursday, but should see mainly sunny skies across the coverage area.

Low temperatures tonight will be cool - but seasonal. Look for lows to range from the low 40s in the west to the low to mid 50s in the east.
