SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A local university is making big moves to help students attend college with its “Foundations for the Future” campaign.

Briar Cliff University has secured $12 million for that campaign and has extended its goal now to $15 million.

This campaign looks to aid in providing scholarships to students as well as address facility improvements and modernization. University President, Dr. Matthew Draud, says this campaign is for the students to make Briar Cliff a higher education option for everyone.

“100% of our students at Briar Cliff have some form of financial aid. Typically, it’s a scholarship, and many of those are funded by our generous donors,” said Dr. Draud. “So the idea here was to build on that campaign, build that arsenal of those annual scholarship dollars to make
