KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The severe risk is looking lower tonight into Thursday, but one or two severe storms with high wind still can’t be ruled out. It will mainly be pockets of rain and storms after sunset into Thursday morning. Lows will be in the upper 60s. Winds will be southwest at 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY COOL FRONT: Showers or storms early in the day will become isolated in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Winds will be southwest at 5-15 mph. Lows will be in the 60s.

FRIDAY: More clouds, some sun and a passing downpour. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

WEEKEND: Partly cloudy both days with highs in the 70s to near 80 and lows around 60. A stray shower can’t be ruled out, mainly in the foothills and Smoky Mountains.
