ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Gateway Regional Criminal Interdiction Task Force is releasing its latest numbers following an operation earlier this month.
According to the task force, it made 49 arrests, cleared 75 warrants, handled 11 drug crimes, recovered five stolen cars and five stolen guns.
The operation took place over the course of 12 hours.
“With the east-west flow of our interstate system, it works naturally,” said St. Charles County Police Chief Kurt Frisz. “We can share a lot of intelligence, and if we engage in something out here that goes into a pursuit in St. Louis County, we have plenty of assistance; it’s all a coordinated effort.”
