ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Saint Louis Public School District is partnering with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Saint Louis Regional Business Council (RBC) to address findings in the recent State Audit.

Earlier this month, the district presented a comprehensive Corrective Action Plan to DESE that addressed the findings of the audit and outlined how to improve fiscal practices. The key areas of focus for the district include budget planning, strategic forecasting, procurement, internal controls, and payroll compliance.
