LOGAN, Utah — As part of Utah State University’s Science Unwrapped program, anthropologists Sascha Baldauf and Molly Cannon presented their research on recently obtained mummified remains Friday night in the Eccles Science Learning Center, unveiling a discovery neither woman expected.

Though their studies rendered unwrapping the remains impossible, due to a worry of compromising what laid within, they did unwrap the process in which they conducted research on the artifact.
