Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes has left a lasting impression on his teammates, with young goalkeeper Dermot Mee recalling how the captain gifted him a signed shirt during their first encounter, despite losing a bet to him.
Mee, who started his career at Walsall before moving to Manchester in 2019, was invited to train with the first team after impressing in the youth ranks. During one of these sessions he entered into a friendly competition with Fernandes.
The challenge involved Mee attempting to save two out of five shots from the Portuguese midfielder, with the reward being a signed shirt from the United skipper.
