TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - It’s always easier to quit when things get hard rather then push through. For Lincoln receiver Maliek Denmark, giving up has never been an option. Denmark has always known he wanted more for himself, and that’s what drives him every day.
“I come from nothing, so I knew when my time comes, I have to make the most of it.”
Denmark moved to Tallahassee from Miami, making the varsity football team at Lincoln his freshman year.
“When I was down south, I played a little bit of everything, from running back to receiver,” he said. “Coming up here, I made the transition to QB.”
Quarterback, is where his heart was, but after receiving little playing time, Denmark moved back to Miami prior to his junior year. Circumstances brought him back to Tallahassee, but the season
