Democratic lawmakers wanted to learn more about vaccine access in Connecticut while assuring residents they’ll be able to get doses, regardless of what the federal government does.
Those lawmakers struggled to deliver their message, though, when they were confronted by upset parents during a press conference that proceeded an information forum.

“Together we are doing everything and will we can to ensure vaccine access and affordability,” Rep. Cristin McCarthy Vahey (D-Fairfield) said during a press conference.
