After a 43-year-old property dealer died as he was allegedly run over by a Mahindra Thar during an altercation at Sector 12 in Faridabad, the police late Tuesday formally arrested three persons, including the son of a senior police officer, who were allegedly travelling in the SUV.
Earlier on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Usha Devi had said that the car was registered in the name of Faridabad Additional Commissioner of Police (Sarai) Rajesh Kumar Lohan and that his son was among those apprehended.
While the police did not formally identify Lohan’s son, officers on Wednesday maintained he was one of those arrested, identified as Nishant, Himanshu Kumar, and Keshav Chaudhary. All three were sent to judicial custody by a court.
