DALLAS — The suspected shooter has been identified in the deadly shooting Wednesday at a Dallas U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office .

The suspected shooter, identified by sources as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, was located on the roof of a nearby building, police say.

One ICE detainee was killed and two others were wounded in the shooting, which happened shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday at the Dallas ICE office at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, off Interstate 35E, according to Department of Homeland Security officials. DHS said the two who were wounded are in critical condition.

ICE officials in a statement said Jahn began "firing indiscriminately at the building, including at a transport van in the sallyport."
